Daily Self-Care

Schedule in time each day for your own self-care.

I often talk about the importance of self-care and I make sure that it is an integral part of all of my coaching programs.
⁣
The mindset of sacrificing our own needs to meet the needs of others is something many of us share. We are super-women, able to get it all done in record time with our signature flair. But we need healthy, strong bodies to keep that S on our chests.⁣
⁣
Self-care means giving the world the BEST of you, not what’s LEFT of you.⁣
⁣
Set aside some time EACH day for your own self-care. And rather than saying, β€œI’m going to do such & such every day at this time,” breathe into it and ask yourself in the very moment, β€œWhat do I need?” Keep breathing, visualizing your breath entering and leaving your body, sending energy & healing light to every cell head to toe. And then listen.⁣
⁣
πŸ›€πŸ»Β  Do you need a nap or a hot bath?⁣
πŸ—£Β  To connect with a friend or a family member?⁣
🀯  How about a brain dump to clear your head?⁣
πŸ•ΊπŸ»Β  A release of energy with some 80s tunes and dancing?⁣
πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈΒ  Maybe more breathing & stretching with some yoga?⁣
πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈΒ  A walk out in nature to reconnect with your soul?⁣
⁣
Being in tune with our bodies is a big part of living life to the fullest in our Second Half of Life. Eating Meaty Low Carb gets our eating & satiety signals working again, and gets us out of β€œred alert mode” from toxic invaders like sugar, gluten, and inflammatory oils. You can see how when combined, this is very healing for our aging bodies.⁣
